Malachite Kingfisher
When we visited South Africa and Namibia, the birds were amazing. I couldn't believe the colors and shapes. I spotted this little kingfisher on one of our excursions and he almost looked unreal sitting by the mud hole. He's not much larger than a hummingbird. Just as I took the photo he had raised his wings to dive for a fish. I couldn't have planned a photo that would have a better pose.
